WELDING AND FABRICATION 

From inception one of GML’s core services has been welding and fabrication. OUR personnel have worked on projects both on large and small scale, from structural steel buildings and pipelines to burglar proofing and vehicle accessories. GML’s facility is well equipped to handle any fabrication job and OUR personnel are trained and experienced. The welders and fabricators are trained to weld all types of metals and alloys using stick, MIG or TIG welding. WE also offer our welding and fabrication service on site if in shop work is not practical. 

INDUSTRIAL AND RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

GML CONTRACTORS LTD. has the capacity and capability to handle complete construction projects. In the past GML has constructed houses for clients in all areas of Trinidad and has even done work on client’s houses in Barbados. However, the focus has switched to industrial and commercial construction over the years. GML has the ability to do from foundations to complete buildings. WE have the equipment and manpower to handle concrete and steel buildings. 

TRANSPORT 

WE provide transport services for all sectors of business in Trinidad and Tobago from Mario’s Pizzeria to Halliburton. GML has a fleet of trucks all with articulated boom cranes. The crane sizes range from 3 ton to 16 ton and are capable of handling any job. OUR trucks are not only used for transport but are also used to assist the teams in all aspects of the construction work from the erection of steel buildings to the transport of equipment. OUR transport division operates on a 24/7 callout and WE have the capability of servicing OUR clients any day of the year and at any time of the day.

EQUIPMENT / PROJECT LOGISTICS  

GML’s personnel are well diverse in the industry and are capable of planning, implementing, and coordinating any job awarded to GML. We pay particular attention to the details of the job or operation at hand. 

EQUIPMENT RENTAL 

GML can supply a wide range of equipment for all jobs. WE have compressors, welding machines (diesel and electric), mini excavator, skid steer, jackhammers, soil compacters, air receivers, cutting and welding equipment, and a large quantity of hand tools. WE have any tool for any job and can supply operators with OUR equipment if necessary.

ABRASIVE BLASTING AND PAINTING

GML’s main facility has a fully enclosed 2,000 sqft blasting room capable of abrasive blasting and painting equipment in excess of a 40ft container size all in a controlled environment. WE have the trained personnel and equipment to ensure your job gets done on time and with proper quality control. WE have a NACE inspector on staff to be sure that quality is not sacrificed. GML has recently invested in a fully digital Elcometer coating inspection kit to ensure all work done meets all quality standards. 

THERMAL SPRAYING (METALLISATION) 

WE are one of the very few local companies with the equipment and expertise to metallise anything you can bring for us. OUR thermal spray equipment can spray from zinc to copper and apply it to all surfaces. Coating newly blasted steel with zinc provides the same corrosion resistance as hot dip galvanizing. Having the abrasive blast room at the same location enables us to apply the solid metal directly to a clean white metal surface. This allows for excellent bonding and in essence a quality job at all times.
